I was told that shooting into a bag target is not as accurate as some others....just wondering what some of you guys use...the 3D targets are pretty expensive..asny help/advise would be greatly appreciated...

The bag targets allow the arrows to kick on impact, but they have no effect on your accuracy. If you don't shoot year-round then a bag is a pretty good option. If you shoot a lot you'll wear out a lot of bag targets...even the really good ones.

The Morrell Super Duper mentioned on here is probably one of the best bag targets there is if you want a bag. I am shooting a Redhead Block target from BPS $39.99 because I can shoot broadheads or field points with this target. Not a long lasting target, but well worth 40 bucks. The Morrell Super Duper is worth the extra money if you only want to shoot field points.

Ditto , the target has no effect on accuracy . I use bag targets for field points and foam targets for broadheads and field points .

I have the Red Head Block and it is chewing up fast with the broadheads.

LOL @ bowriter.

I got a friend that had gotten some replacement bags for bag targets. I have 3 of them that I stuffed shrink wrap from shipment pallets in and been shooting for 3 yrs now. 2 of them have been in the weather for that time and are still holding up but the designs are faded.

i have 4'x4' squares of roofing insulation board tied together it's lasted 3+yrs. gets a little icthy sometimes but it was FREE!

JoeDeer $136 At The Archery Den. I've been shooting it in my living room, does not even come close to going through it.

rhinehart now and from here on out..had it 3yrs and its great..shot every type from bag to block and none stop or hold up like the rhinehart..stops the mathews and the barnett predator...easy removal also

I made a bag target out of an old Kentucky 31 seed sack stuffed full of plastic bags from Kroger, Walmart, etc. Took me a couple years to fill it up. But once it was full and stuffed tight it worked really well.

been shooting a block. not really all that impressed for the price. ill def buy different next time
