I'm looking for a new turkey vest in the $100 or less range. Anyone have a favorite? Looking for something in mossy oak new breakup.

I won't use anything but a redhead bucklick creek turkey lounger. Self supporting back so you don't need a tree. A little hot, and a little heavy but very very comfortable.

Ive had a Primos for years and have been very happy with it. Ive also been looking at the ol tom strap vest (the $80 one) because it seems a little lighter for those hot days.

Thanks guys. The vest I have works fine, but the seat has never been very comfortable, which has cost me more birds than i'd like to admit......

Yeah, I have a favorite but I'll let you have it for $100 if I must...

The Super Elite III that Vermin mentioned is a nice vest and for that price you can't beat it. Not sure about the new Mossy Oak camo though, those vest I believe are last years models.

Cabelas Tactical Tatr 2 is a nice vest. Good seat and has plenty of pockets.

I bought one of these last year and used it all season.
I really, really liked it. The pull down cushion was great
for flash hunts but I normally carry a small camp chair everywhere. That's the only way I've been able to sit still
comfortably for very long.

If you have a vest you like but don't care much for the cushion seat it has - modify it. Add a couple of layers of the high density foam from a camping pad (you should be able to find one at Wally World for ~ $9).

ol tom dura-lite turkey vest is great. Its a very light weight no frills hunting vest that has enough storage for me. I really like it and it fits well with my run and gun approach. $60.00 at bass pro.
