Well, its about here!! Am really looking forward to this year. My son Derek is fired up, brought his BPS over, we had never done the forcing cone in his so we got out the JGS reamer and went to town, after an hour or so it was time to break out the polish and shine it up on the inside. I wish My camera could capture that image of before and after. Its a 4" reamer and does a great job, bought it in 1998. We mounted up a scope for him too, a Nikon 1.75x5 matching camo, that boy is just plain ready!!! I polished my barrel inside and the 870 Supermag is sitting on ready. I ordered myself a new 20 gauge for this year, hope it comes in today. I decided on the Winchester SXP Universal Hunter in 24" barrel. They come drilled and tapped from the factory. 6# 4 oz. Less optic. Bushnell Trophy 1x4 in matte black may be what I top it off with. We are going Saturday to listen in Mississippi at our place, then meet with landowner to a place I hunted for 1 year that was really a good spot, finally got that back.

Great day this one was, got to shoot the 20 ga. I bought a .555" Indian Creek and a Sumtoy, Tried the Hevi 13 #7 and some #5 cause thats what I had on hand. Thats a wicked shooting little shotgun. Very happy with 41 yard patterns. Shoots very straight with beads. Scope not here yet, will be Monday. Oldest and I rode and got the tour on the property east of Ashland, and all looking great, am pumped!!
