Should be lots of food to spread the deer out abit.....

where there are no corn fields, there are bean fields...

very little cotton this year, in my area....

good for deer, maybe not so good for hunters...??????

Especially if rains come and keep the corn in the field too long, or the rain allows the deer to not have to "go to water" and better predict their movement....

lots of food and water makes for slow movement...don't you think..?

Can't wait to start hunting again, makes for less time on here and more time for doing what i do best.....sit and wait...lol.

Lots of corn everywhere in west TN, some beans and very little cotton. This is my best assessment from what I have gathered while riding the back roads on weekends and piddling outdoors whenever time permits.

Corn is at its highest acreage in the U.S since 1937. Everyone was hoping to make a killing with the high prices due largely to ethanol subsidies, IMO. The widespread drought is now sending prices up because of fears of much reduced yield.

Bought what I figured.
