Smoked for 1 hour. Dude was gobbling just hours ago hahah

Looks about right to me. When I carved my bird yesterday, I cut up one breast and put the other one in the freezer for later. Going to pull the legs and put in some BBQ sauce. I think smoked is my favorite way to eat em, right beside grilled over charcoal

Is that half a breast? How did you get it to cook to temp in 1-hour? I have smoked 3-4 half breasts with mixed results. A couple times it turned out good and relatively moist. A couple times dry and tough. I usually smoked it 2-3 hours each time at about 250.

Yeah just half. Don't know man just cooked easy for me. Left it in indirect heat at 275 for an hour and the last 15 mins I turned up the heat to 350 to finish it off. When I cut into it juice was going everywhere

what kind of smoker do you use? I am in the market for one right now and have been looking at a Camp Chef Vault 24 and a Bradley Original.

Actually I did mine in a weber gas grill with a smoker box in it.

that's a good idea too. I have a weber genesis gas grill, may be cheaper to just buy the box. The meat looks great! Congrats on the kill and the reward

Did you have the skin on it? I typically have wrapped my in bacon...which I know probably makes Poser cringe...haha
