That is pretty laughable. I'm certainly not an OSU fan, but it is a major stretch to say that Fields did anything but excel in that ball game. He led them down the field for the go ahead score late in the 4th quarter. And, after his defense let Clemson go back ahead, he led them right down the field in striking distance of the winning score. The replays clearly showed that the last interception wasn't on him. His receiver broke off his route and turned the other way leaving an easy pick for the DB.

The "catch-fumble-return for score" that wasn't was the turning point in the game.

Fields played well, but Lawrence's runs were huge. I didn't know he had that in him. Fun game to watch.

As is usually the case, when a team has a stars aligned game where EVERYTHING is clicking, the next game they come back down to earth. It may come down to how well Clemson's DBs play. I have a feeling they'll be better than OKlahomas.

I think Clemson is playing the best ball right now if the four teams that made the playoffs and like them to win it all.

I think Saban said it best in 2017 in a interview when he was asked about them expanding the Playoffs to 6 teams .

He said something along the lines of you could make a argument for such and such team to be in the play offs or that team to be in the play offs but only ONE team was going to win the NC .

Sorta the way I see this years NC . OSU was never going to win the NC ,, neither was Oklahoma.

Idc how good Clemson is playing. Burrow come out like he did yesterday and nobody stopping LSU. Nearly 500 yards and 7 TD's? Come on now...

Except Clemson has been there and done that and got a diploma!

Expect Clemson to have a game plan on Burrow and tie him up . The Clemson defense will put him in uncomfortable situations he has not faced all season .. get him flustered and pick the ball off .

Don't expect to see the same show from Burrow you saw last night . This ain't going to be Oklahoma

Fields didn't throw a interception all season long and then throws two in the big game when it matters .

I'm expecting Burrow to choke as well well faced with pressure he has not faced all season long .

Maybe, but guess what, I bet alot of people thought the same thing when they played Alabama too. The guy has threw for over 300+ yards against top SEC defenses. 293 against Florida. Clemson ain't gonna be any different. IMO
 
Oklahoma has not had a single game where a qb threw 300yds, Burrow threw 500? Not sure. Clemson has had an easy schedule, LSU will coast, probably coast in the sec for years to come

Clemson defense will definitely slow Burrow to an extent but they WILL NOT stop him. I like LSU in a 31-21 type game.
