Lumenok & Carbon Express Arrows?

I'm trying to use Lumenoks with Carbon Express arrows. The problem I'm having is the metal ring on the back of the arrow it keeping the lumenok from working properly. I can take the ring off and they work great. Is it safe to use the Carbon Express arrows with out the ring? Is there any way to make them work with the ring?

Not sure what to tell ya, I use that combo and don't have any problem

I know what your talking about the ring can be taking off its they call it bull dag collar its there to help protect your arrow if another arrow hits it. it will be safe I have some I have taking off and be shooting for a year it want hurt a thing.

If you will take a paper tissue paper that you use in a gift bag, and wrap one wrap arrow the arrow shaft then slip the metal collar over it, that we fix your problem. Just make sure to twist the collar as your sliding it own, then trim off any excess with a razor blade. You'll never know it there.

Yep you can remove them and it will be fine.
