Probably a lot know Bout this but you can take a 2-4 oz barrel sinkersand run some copper wire through and on each side make you about 3 coils like around 1/2 inch pvc or such. When hung wrap line through coils and send it down the line.
Works great most of the time to knock lure loose from hang. You may have to whip around a little sometimes.
Doesn't work much when you set the hook like ruger. I like it better most of the time than the corkscrew pole thingy.
Cheap and easy to make and not much lost.
