Started on this before the season and figured I better wait till after the season before I screwed something up. I still need to test it but it should work. I also cut 2" off the stock. Got tired of the pad hanging up on my vest while bringing it to my shoulder in a sitting position. Not very hard to do but does take some time. The stock is oversized being that it's made for a 12 so you need to sand it down. It also has a tit that's molded into the stock that goes into the receiver. I cut it off and drilled it out. It doesn't screw the stock up if you don't want to use the speedbead as you can use a roll pin.

I had modified this mount but ordered another and it shouldn't take any modifying. I modified this mount to keep from having to sand the stock but the front of the mount that fits the profile of the receiver had a gap. I was going to bed it but what the hay. I still have that option if need be. Getting it dipped once I know if it works

Nice!

I opted to stick with as light of a gun as possible, so no pistol grip for me. But I do love the M2's set up like this.

I'll weigh the stock and the factory stock to see how much difference there is. The speedbead mounts right up with the factory stock

I using a Franchi Affinity and Roost1 had an M2 with the steady grip. Not sure the exact weight difference, but it's a good bit.
