Made a stir fried veggies and chicken and stir fried noodles and steak (tai chili heavy spice for the noodles ...) both with a homemade brown sauce. Pretty dang tastey.

Larry

Larry I have made the sauce so many times I dont measure but here is a good base for you to start. When you get all these ingredients together let it cook some and give it a taste then add what you want. I usually go heavy on garlic and red pepper, so I toned down the recipe and you can build from there for the flavor you want

2 cups of beef bullion
.5 tsp garlic
.5tsp ground ginger
.5 tsp red pepper flakes
1TBL spoon housin sauce
.5 cup soy sauce (I use reduced sodium)
dash of vinegar

bring to a boil...taste add what you want to develop the flavor you want. Once that is done, I use a slurry made of corn starch and water. I add that to the sauce as a thickener. This will also help with binding the sauce to the rice veggies chicken etc. I cook on the griddle and mix it all together (veggies meat and rice) I put half the sauce on top and cook alittle longer on the griddle. Then have the other half of the sauce to add as needed when plating..This also works well just using skillets on the stove for the meat veggies and rice mixture then adding the sauce.
