I took my brother Brad and his Grandson, Malachi fishing today. Malachi had never been fishing in a boat and that proved to be really exciting for him. The first hour was spent out in open water letting Malachi learn to cast accurately.
After he made some good casts we moved in to the bank and went fishing. The little fellow did really good. He only got hung in a tree top a couple of times. The first fish he caught was hilarious. That is the look you get on your face when you find out if grab a fish it will fin barb you.
This is the look you get when you realize the fish did it.
This was the best picture of the trip. His very first Chickamauga Bream.
When we got back to the truck I handed him his official certificate or recognition from TWRA for his First Fish. (You can download them on the TWRA webiste.)
