That's what's happening to the Vols. I posted in the other thread yesterday that I hoped they didn't think because they beat Kentucky that the championship was automatically theirs. Defense against the 3 has been awful and auburn has lit them up. 6+ minutes to go and down 17 doesn't look good.

Worse case scenario for the Vols. Went all the way through to the end for nothing. When they should have lost the first game to rest up. At least that's what I saw on here about past NCAA Champs. ^^^^

And Colgate has been the best 3pt shooting team since Feb 1st.

And Colgate has been the best 3pt shooting team since Feb 1st.

Would surprise me if Colgate can shoot 3's better than Aulburn.They haven't played against the same caliber competition that Auburn has.

Has nothing to with Auburn. It's about Colgate's strength and Tennessee's weakness, defending the 3.

At times they almost had a turnover as often as a basket. They looked terrible. I don't see them making it to the championship game.

They're nowhere near Auburn when it comes to the 3. 8-28, 9-22, 5-15, 12-21, 7-23 their last 5 games.

But, they appear to be a solid team who is on a hot streak. They've won 11 straight.

Playing Friday is a boost, and I really like the bracket. If we don't make the FF, it will be a disappointment.

Hard to beat a team that knocks down 15 3's and causes the opponent to have 18 turnovers. Was washing my Jeep up so didn't get to watch it but seemed like a beat down. I like Pearl and was glad to see him win but didn't expect it to go that way.

I hear ya. But, this team is capable of winning it all. Not likely, and some things would have to go our way, but definitely have the pieces.
