Checking through some of my cams, and finding some are no longer working, etc.

I sold one a week or so ago on eBay, then it occurred to me that come of you may use them for parts when building your own?

So is there a market for these things? I'd just like to get a few $$$ to go towards some new ones, and clean up the clutter a bit. And honestly - I'd rather deal with someone here than ebay adding fees coming and going.

Not that I'm aware of. Everything is so "firmware" and proprietary in nature. In essence, homebrew camera makers don't use the same systems as commercial cams because the imager is built into the commercial cam's system, instead of being a whole separate system like homebrewers use.

It was a cheap WildGame camera and I got roughly $6 plus shipping for it in ebay, FYI.

I may throw another one up there just to get it gone.
