in our area, who apparently has discovered how to make a great harvest.......in April. He must be skilled since there is nothing but hardwood hills, pasture, cutover and pine plantations as far as the eye can see. The bird that my son killed yesterday was full of fresh corn. Ditto one we killed last year and the year before. Might explain why we were covered up with birds in January, and now have a fraction of that number. We have great habitat on us, but if we want the birds like we have had, maybe we need to grow our own "crop".

I have had that happen before. In the spring and not a corn crop has been grown for miles. I just ferggered they can not only go miles but go through time.
