Mathews bow question....

Sold my McPherson and bought a Mathews,turned it up and local shop dressed her with all my gear from the old bow I wanted to keep and its slower than my 10 yr old McPherson shooting lighter arrows even.I would liek another 30-40 fps to match the Mcpherson....any suggestions to do this without compromising the bow ? its maxed out per factory specs at 272 fps the Mcperson was 300 +/- a few per chrono at shop.Not something I have to do just wondering......

Which Mathews bow? How old is it? How many pounds is it pulling?

What southpaw said. Need more info. model, poundage, draw, custom stringand cable?, what is on the string(like d-loop, peep), all arrow info(type, length, bh, vanes).
