mathews mission bow

Iam thinking about buying one, just don't know much about them. have you shot one? how does it pull. My local bow shop does'nt have one i can shoot.

They are a Mathews bow without some of the bells and whistles . Best thing to do is to go to your local dealer and shoot one. :)

I don't have one but I have heard good things about them. I do know that a fellow that has a journey and he really likes it. He says the draw is smooth. Try to find a shop that will let you shoot one.

i have the mission journey .one of the smoothest if not the smoothest bow i have ever shot.it is also very quiet and very accurate, and is plenty fast enough.

Well said Scott.

I had a Mission X3 when they first came out with them. Bar none...no question or doubt about it...I liked it better than ANY Mathews I ever had. That bow just fit me good. I've not shot any of their higher end ones, but if the X3 was that good, I imagine the others are pretty good too.

I bought a Mission Journey last year and love it. I shot a DXT, Drenaline and the Journey back to back and couldnt tell the difference. The DXT was a little bit shorter, but I couldn't tell a $250 difference. The Journey has a very smooth draw and almost no hand shock. It is also a very quiet bow. My uncle has a Switchback and his was quite a bit louder. The only real difference is the Journey doesn't have the harmonic dampeners nor the slimlimb design.

Its like Benelli and Stoeger.Shoot the bow before laying the money down.Bought a Fred Bear Primos bow last year off ebay last year without being able to shoot it was a huge mistake on my part needless to say sold it as soon as season was over.
