Warning!! Do not shoot one of these bows. UNLESS You got some cash burning a hole in your pocket. I shot 1 and didnt have the cash but I put it in layaway. I love bows that make ya smile after 1 shot.

I went ahead and picked it up today. :) I can say it has been a while since I liked a bow this much. Its not as smooth as the Z7 Mag or the ez7, but it's quite a bit faster than either of those, and is pretty quiet too. No hand shock whatsoever. I am very happy with it.

This one is a little more $ than a normal MR6. I wanted the black riser with camo limbs and custom string/cable colors. I think they are $829 for a camo one.

Not that speed means a thing, but it's nice to have in such a sweet package anyway.

65 pound draw weight @ 28.5" draw. 396 grain arrow total weight. 315 fps.

My previous bows at the same specs always put me in the mid 280s to low 290s. So this is quite a jump for me.

I'm gonna have to break down and shoot one of the newer bows. I've been stuck on my Switchback for several years. Just can't seem to part with it....

Hurry up and get tired of this one Crow and I'll buy it from you for $250. :D

Todd , I still think the Switchback is one of the sweetest shooting bows Mathews ever made . Might want to keep that one around for a back up if you decide on a new bow .
The MR6 looks nice .

i have a switchback as well, and just cant get rid of it. i shot a ez7 and a bowtech this week, but i cant justify paying for a new one. i would like to replace my dampeners with a new color though.

The more I shoot this bow the more I like it. I think I should have got a 60 pound model though, because I have this 70 pounder backed down to 60 and like how it draws there. Even at 60 pounds, its faster than any 70 pound bow I've ever had and a lot smoother.

This may be one I hold on to for a very long time. It shoots good. Is decently quiet, super fast, and I am still throwing some heavy arrows down range.

Ignore TT, what an insult! I'll give you $260.

I'm a firm believer to the saying you get what you pay for. On my z7 I tuned it at the pro shop and as we were sighting in the 30 yard pin I Robin Hooded the 1st arrow. I have it on the wall in my office and every asks "what's up with the long arrow"?
