Okay, I may be a couple years behind, but I only paid half of the new cost.....
I posted a couple weeks ago about my purchase....A used Switchback from a local Archery shop......
I had alot of real positive responses on the Switchback....
Let me say.....WOW!
I have been shooting a little more over the last few days and I am extremely impressed......This thing is blazing fast... It is twice as smooth as any other bow i have shot.... I am extremely consistent with my shots at all yardages....... Can you say HAPPY?

Maybe I am over reacting to something that everyone else knows by now, but it is nearly brand new, atleast to me, and I paid half price.......

i have an outback which came out the year before the switchback. i shot the switchback when it came out but didn't see enough difference from the outback to buy it. nice bows for sure. enjoy it.

That is awesome to hear....plus you got it at a deal.....that makes it even better. I am glad to hear you are really liking it, I thought you would.

I just bought a brand new Drenalin in the unopened Mathews box for $375.00!

if you should happen to run across a deal like that on a lefthanded DXT, keep me in mind.

Stik, you probably won't find a new one, and I seem to remember by your posts on here before you won't or don't like buying a used one, but I got my left hand DXT on archery talk for $350. It's in great shape. Lefty stuff usually goes cheaper on there since there isn't as much demand.

I can understand that. I'm considering buying a new bow with a warranty to keep for a back up so I will have one with a warranty in case I got into a spot where I couldn't buy another one or something. However, I'm starting to think of bows like cars. Let someone else buy them new and take the depreciation, then I'll buy them at 60-70% original cost when the original owner has to have the new model the next year.

exactly how i tend to see it. I usually try and get the 1 year old versions at a much reduced price. I just upgraded to a 2010 (barely even used) Bear Assault with sites and rest for $325 which was a steal.

I had a switchback and it was a great bow. I sold it to buy a z7 last year and i do love my z7 but the switchback is not too far behind it all the z7 is is a switchback on steroids. never the less you will love the bow.
