Mathews Z7 vs Z7 extreme

So I went to CK Outfitters today here in Woodlawn. I shot the Z7 and the Z7 extreme. They were both set at 27.5 draw and were shooting the same fall away rest. And I shot two in groups with the Z7. Then was shooting quater size groups with the extreme everytime. I am not one to follow the hunting show hype so I wanted to see for myself. They are completely sold out of the extreme, so I ordered one and it will be there wednesday or thursday. I cannot wait to get my hands on it again. Anyone else shot both bows and prefer one over the other?

I shot them both and decided on the extreme. I like them both but the extreme felt better.

The extreme seemed to have a harder stopping point on the draw, which i think makes for a better shot.

yes i got a extreme about a month ago and love it. the second day i had it i was shooting softball size groups at 60 yds with 5 arrows. awsome bow!

What sight do yall have on yours? 4 or 5 pin?

I have a 4 pin on my extreme, only because it was on my
previous bow. Im really wanting a one pin adjustable sight.

If your wanting a one pin you should try one of the HHA sights. I have one and love it. The only reason im shooting a fixed pin know is I ran into a problem with extra movement when the deer get close rangeing and adjusting. Other than that I would shoot it all the time.

Just sold my extreme... It's a great shooting little bow with a smooth draw. The only thing I had against it was the slightest bit of creep and It will take off on you. Mine was a 28" 70# . I have a speed pro x11 on the way and sure I will fall in love again!!! Made right here in Tennessee!!!

I traded in the Z7 for the Z7 extreme the compact design makes it easier if you are a blind hunter.

I shot both and went with the extreme in a 27.5 #65. I love that thing, best purchase I have ever made. You won't be disappointed. I'm shooting 50 yard 4" groups easily.

man CK is still there? man i spent alot of time up back when my buddy was up in clarksville...he actually worked there for a while and we always stopped in on the way back from dover.

was just asking him if they were still around. Good folks up there at CK (still wear a hat they gave me back when)
