I don't follow baseball like I used to but apparently this guy is on fire.
He just got called up this year.
He is the son-in-law of a good friend of mine.
Very cool to see a "local" make it to the big time.

Pretty awesome watching him in the big leagues. He is either my brothers age or a year younger. They played against each other all the time in HS and summer league. 2 different times he smoked a ball right back to my brother while he was pitching. One to the groin region and one to the chest. Not saying it just because he's in the MLB now but you could tell then he had the drive to make it a career. Hope he gets a starting spot and hangs on at the top level for the rest of his career.
