Indoor shooting has never been my forte or of huge interest to me. It's more like indoor is what I do while waiting to shoot outside! Indoor shooting does help you maintain form and muscle memory in the off season and I would dearly love to have my own indoor range at my house.
Over the years I've shot several 300's with some mid 50's and 40's. I've shot one 300 earlier this year.coming off a week lay off from shooting, Last Thursday night at Joe's I shot a 297 with 48 x-rings. The PCE I'm shooting is set-up for 3D and 64 pounds of spiral cams is a good work out during a 60+ arrow 5-spot shoot.
Last Friday night I did achieve a historic landmark in my indoor shooting and finally shot a clean 300 with 60X's for a 360! This may never happen again!
What really sucks is that it is less than two weeks before the first ASA Pro/Am and Arctic weather has fallen on Tennessee! Too cold to shoot outside and get outside to judge targets! This really, really, really blows!
May I have some cheese with my whine?
I wish I had a place like this to shoot at in the off season! I'd be there everyday to feed my foam addiction!
