Bummer... The farm I hunt has really really gone down hill in the past 4-5 years. Its a very large tract of small fields and large timber. Years ago, it was nothing to hear 6+ birds at daylight on a decent morning. Man... now you are lucky to hear 1. We have talked to the game wardens and he said the hatches the past couple years have been bad. We have not taken a bird of this farm in 3 years. With it being bad, we have really tried to not hunt as much on this particular farm, trying to really give them a chance to rebuild. Its not like it used to be, but maybe one day it will be like it used to be.
