This deer was just a ~125 inch clean 8 last year. Neighbor thinks he was 5.5 last year. I think he was 4.5 last year. Either way neighbor has his left side shed from the previous 2 years. 2 years ago he had a 3 or 4 inch point coming off his base. Last year it disappeared. He absolutely exploded this year. Needless to say we will be hunting him next weekend if the wind and weather cooperate.

Any pics from last year?

I've searched high and low for the pictures of him from last year and I can't locate them. I bet the neighbor has some though so I'll see if I can get my hands on one.

That deer Is fully mature (5.5 or older).... it's very unusal for a buck to gain that many inches from 4.5 to 5.5.... are u sure the 125 in 8 from last year is this buck? I bet you didn't get pics of him last year and he is the buck from 2 years ago with the abnormal point off left base

100% certain. Neighbor has his shed from last year and there is 0 doubt it's him. Rack shape is identical just added the extra point. Guy that farms it actually missed him with a rifle last year. The day he sprayed the beans this summer he called me and told me he was 99% sure he'd just seen the deer he missed last year. Sure enough we put a camera up and he was using our bean field like clockwork. I'll try my best to get my hands on a good trail cam picture of him from last year.
