Well I didn't shoot very well and I'm way out of the money . I shot well in the second round I just couldn't get them to land in the twelve . But I had a good time shooting and I met a couple ugly fellers from here and shot the sims course yesterday  . I figured out my problem while we were stuck in the I-24 traffic for 2 hours . I had the back tension blues .

Ill just say if you keep your thumb on the peg , you will struggle to get it to go off .

You know what they say...a bad weekend shooting is better than a good weekend working. I was pulling five 12s in a row over the weekend and just getting text updates from buddies up there that shot.

Some of my friends done decent there; several in the top 10 in their classes. The biggest thing is...that it wasn't 108 degrees up there this year like it was last year, and THAT is always a big plus.

I shot 8 up on the Sims, but had a awful sat. Had a rest failure that killed me, and kept getting deeper in the hole trying to make up for it.

Ugly?????? That is the pot calling the kettle black!!!!! LOL :D

It was a great time, even though I stunk it up bad! Mike, it was a pleasure shooting with you and finally getting to put a face with the name.

I had near the same result, only worse I'm afraidyou would think that I had never had a bow in my hand before, much less shot a 3D course before. Never shooting anything, anywhere near that magnitude really got in my head for some reason and I never did fully recover. The train absolutely came off the tracks at the start of the first round....the second round I shot well, but I had dug a hole that was halfway to China, so I just had fun and stopped caring about what was on paper.

fasteddie had a great round and finished in, or very near the money....I just want to be like him when I grow up. :D

It was really fun shooting with you guys as well . Maybe I can talk the wife into letting me go to Alabama and we can all go .

I shot 12 up for the weekend, but in Open B that's only good enough for 23rd. The weather was great except for some rain sunday morning. There are several archers from Tennessee that had great weekends in Metropolis, including at least one win.
