I have not heard one thing out of the Turkey this morning.

Saw one hen as she fed through the woods. Off to celebrate Mothers Day!

Funny. Yesterday the woods were full of jakes and gobbles.

Ive been going out listening in the mornings for my Veteran coming in to hunt this week. Yesterday was awesome on the farm im taking him. Saw 6 toms and 4 jakes. They gobbled from 5am till I left at 7am.
Went back this am but had to leave quick for work. Heard a good bit of gobbling and watched 3 toms fly down together. I backed out to the truck and could hear them still gobbling when I shut the door.

A little more wind and a little less gobbling would have made it perfect today...
