Vegas gives Mike Gundy the best Odds to be the gators next coach.
NO joke if this happens and Vegas is right? serious would you guys be Ok with this hire?

Yup and his gonna finish this season at Oklahoma st. At 5-7 unless they upset Oklahoma. he might be ready to move on.

I would not be to excited over Gundy if I were a Florida fan!

Considering he was one of Dave Hart top choices before UT went down the list and hired CBJ. Hart flew out to seen Gundy and met Gundy at his residence. He must not be to bad of a coach than again UT tried to hire Muschamp before settling on Dooley. Carry on... :)

He would be OK coach. He can recruit good and that might be what florida needs most at the moment. He had some good teams at Oklahoma st. But that's not the SEC there just a little different lol. His team is more then likely gonna finish 5-7 this year:/
dont think his gonna jump right into the job and win right away his first two years like muschamp did. Think he will focus on recruiting and building the team back to a championship level, kinda like coach jones:)

Gundy wouldn't be the home run hire that most Gator fans would hope for, but he should be serviceable.

Lol.. One could say we dodged a bullet with Muschamp not coming, but he there's no way he could've been worse than Dooley.

Gundy would be a good hire for any program. I for one was excited when I learned Dave Hart was in OK talking to him.

I believe he would be a much better hire than Charlie Strong. My hopes came true when Strong turned UT down.

Much easier to recruit in Florida/the SEC than in Stillwater, OK/Big 12.

I'm fine with Gundy but would be a little upset if FL hired a coach from the American Athletic Conference or Conference USA.... :D

I would not scoff at any coach seeing what the Gators have had the last few years.BTW,I havent went to the trouble to see for sure what OSU's wins are this year but I believed I saw they had won 5 games in a conference that is no comparison to the SEC!!lol :grin:
