I MISSED MY FIRST DEER SUNDAY EVENING. IT WAS A DOE AT 20 YDS I WAS SHAKING AND RUSHED MY SHOT BUT I NOTICED THAT IT LOOKED LIKE MY BROADHEAD CUT ACCROSS HER UNDERSIDE BENEATH HER RIB CAGE AND I HAD WHITE FUR ON MY FLETCHINGS. MY QUESTION IS DO YOU THINK THE DEER WILL BE OK? NO BLOOD ON ARROW OR GROUND DEER BUCKED AND TOOK OFF.

Happened to me last year on my 1st shot on a deer with my bow. If possible try to slow your breathing and take your time burying your pin on the deer. Don't move your bow after the shot till you see the arrow hit and stop. Sounds like the deer sneaked up on you before you were ready!
