Mississippi has thawed out.

Congratulations. What area of Mississippi are you hunting. We hunt about 15 miles from Tunica. We arrived to our field completely frozen and locked Saturday Morning, we busted out a good hole and then by 11:30 everything opened up. We stayed until sunset and never fired a shot. Only seen about a dozen birds remotely close enough to call. We are hunting a flooded bean field.
We have only shot 2 birds all season. That is all that have came in, not like we were shootign and missing, 2 birds worked and that is what we got. This was our first year in Mississippi, usually hunt Missouri and western Arkansas.
Very dissapointed.

Wow, Glad to know there are ducks around. We are hunting tomorrow and morning and picking up for the year. Glad they have shown up for you.
