Missouri bird, 25 lbs 8 oz, 9-1/4" beard and 1-1/4" Spurs. Ended up sneaking to 15 yds to make the kill. They were in the bottoms on the other side of the creek. I got into the ditch beside us that went to the creek. Came around the last curve they were about 50 yds. Once behind the tree I made my move. Had to belly craw on the other side. Notice how open the creek area is.

I killed a MO gobbler in the snow on Wednesday morning. He weighted 24 pounds, 8 ounces, had a 10.5 inch beard, and spurs over 1 3/8 inch. My nephew killed a gobbler that was 25 pounds even. We hunt in Texas County in the south central part of the state. Where do you hunt, Spoon?

Hey spoon,

how did you go from not being able to kill a bird to traveling all over gods green earth and smoking them on the regular? LOL!

Great season and awesome bird!
Blessed to have good friends with great hearing allowing me to tag along and been lucky the couple times.
