I'm enjoying the Cubs run, not just because it keeps alive the possibility of ending over 100 years of futility, but I also like how they play. Same with the Royals who right now are up on the Astros. I didnt care either way about the Rangers and Blue Jays. I hate the Mets, but don't care for the Dodgers either (I guess because of those battles between the Reds and Dodgers in the 70s in the old National League West).

So, I'm hoping for a Cubs vs Royals World Series. Will the futility of the Indians (no World Series championship since 1948) replace the Cubs as the lovable losers?

The Cubs are getting very timely hitting and this does not seem to be anything unusual for this year. Every other year, yeah, but not this year.

I think the Dodgers might fall on their face, fire Mattingly, do a Braves thing. With Kershaw and Greinke they might get past the Cubs but Mattingly can't coach well enough to make it to Williamsport.

I think KC will knock off Toronto. Last night was their World Series and just for the record: The histrionics do not reflect favorably on Toronto. It made you look like really, you don't belong, go back to your hoickey game.

So Cubs versus KC does indeed sound reasonable. However, KC has the home field advantage. That is going to be the death knell for Chicago. I am figuring KC in 5.

In 2016 watch the All-Star game be played for blood.

I will be pulling for the Cubs as they are my 2nd most liked team behind the Braves. Mostly because when we first were able to get cable tv, I could watch cubs day baseball and watch the Braves at night. I'll be happy with either a World Series Championship or enjoy watching the diehard Cubs fans meltdown. Both will be enjoyable.

Sorry to see the Cubs fold but their pitching still requires a few hits. I never expected them to be swept after the way they manhandled the Pirates and Cards. I have no love for the Mets but ever since the failed Flores trade that Team has pulled together.

So will KC fold and/or Toronto wake up?

Wanted the Cubs. Not that I like the Cubs, just have always hated any NY team. Mets sure have a some real good young arms and Daniel Murphy tore it up. Cubs forgot how to field.

I like how the Royals play the game. They will score 5 runs with 4 singles, a stolen base and a ground out.

Mattingly gone from the Dodgers and this is no surprise.

I look at the performance of Cueto and wonder if I was the coach I do not think I would start him. I wouldn't let him dress even. I think he threw that game.

KC needs a win today so they can get some of the rest the Mets are getting.

With the Mets vs KC I think you could see a sweep. I am picking Mets in 4 worst case Mets in 5
