i have an excalibur. they are supposed to shoot the flat nocks, but i shoot both the flats and half moon. it shoots the same either way. you just have to make sure your nock is turned the right way.
I shoot either one in my TenPoint and they fly within a half inch of the same. However, some bows are more critical. I believe you can shoot either just make sure to sight in with one and stay with it.
I shoot the half moon nocks since that is what came with my bow. I also shoot 125 grain Muzzy broadheads simply because that is what I shot with my compound and was too cheap to buy more broadheads. They shoot great out of my Horton crossbow and perform very well on deer.
