Opening day of hunting season I was trying to pace myself. I had softball game to be at 1:30 pm. Church funtion that evening. At almost 1 pm , i noticed i had only eaten a couple crackers and a snack cake. I had been going since 4:40 am. On top of that i had to pitch to my little girls softball team. It sure felt good to get my foot on that turkeys head that day even if I was busy. I might have been on two wheels but i made it to each function. I didnt even get a phone pic of bird.I was literally running out of the woods with him. Turkey season is a crazy time for me, and my family thinks im nuts, I guess I am when it comes to turkey hunting. The madness is here, bring it on. Just need longer days.lol Why cant it get daylight at 4am ?
