I don't even start looking till turkey season but the warm weather it is possible I'm not the best at finding them anyway lol both my grandfathers was really good at finding them

Kind of what I'm thinking too. With all the rain and warm temps; I bet the little greys are popping out right now.

I bet the blacks are popping up... the blacks were drying out when I went morel hunting during turkey season and the yellows and greys were coming in thick. I'm gonna have to start looking soon with these temps.

found 14 yellows today not including the babies I left behind. Posted a pic in general forum. The time is here, get out and start looking!

Nice job catman! I'll start with my south facing spots first I reckon.

thanks boll weevil, oh and I found these on a NNE facing slope. I would expect south facing slopes to come up first but I haven't looked on any yet.
