Great addition, it helps a BUNCH with recoil by having a pistol grip.

Shot it this evening the pistol grip def helped in recoil but the scorpion grips that were praised I didn't feel so much. But I def like it. The adj stock is nice too

Changed the stock on my 835 to a thumbhold last year. Best investment that I have made in a while. Makes it much easier to hold in position when waiting for the gobbler to present a shot. Also seems to make the recoil less severe.
