Mossberg 835 turkey choke

I just got an 835 at a pawn shop and it only has the mod choke. Just looking for ideas for turkey chokes. I realize all guns are different, but was curious of any luck with any specific ones. There are so many to choose from....! Don't have the funds to be buyin' and tryin' for sure. Hoping someone has the secret potion I can try! Thanks for your comments and time. Kicks was a great choke in mine I sold it cause I simply don't use mine anymore I have a Semi Auto with a Comp N Choke in it, My brother put a Comp N Choke in his 835 though loves it!

i dont own an 835 but according to alot of people i know that have one they like the following

Indian creek overall the best
Kicks Gobbling thunder for lead shot
Jelly Head as a #2/3 for both lead and hevi.

Thanks fellers. Probably should've just ask Set(chuck norris)rman, but of course he probably don't approve of m'bergs especially after I put a sticker on it. I'll have more money in the sticker than the gun is worth, but hey...it's mine and I want to "try to be tough" so I'm gonna get one!

Hastings .675 WW HV 2 ounce 6 shot,,money at 45 yards and have gotten lucky at 55 and 58 yards..they were big and looked much closer,,

I shoot a Jelly Head out of mine with Nitro's. Its bad to the bone. ( I bet it would shoot the strait 7's by heavi shot well also)

These are some of the best chokes for the Moss 835. For the money the Tru-Glo will probably be hard to beat. If you can find an old Star Dot that would be a great choice. I like my Indian Creek .675 choke.

I've always heard great things about the jellyhead with the 835 but my factory extra full does so well with Winchester Supreme #5's that I'm afraid to try it.

I like the Stardot .676 with the 2oz 3" Federal #5 of the factory turkey chooke with the 3 1/2 W-W 2 1/4 os #5. My farthest turkey was with the 3 1/2 #5. 65 yards. I have killed some at 50 yards with the 3" Federal 2 oz. reflex264

i use the factory modified that came with my mossberg 835. puts em down out to 50 with no problem at all. all my friends laugh but i kill em just the same as they do.
