I've had 3 die on me this year, appears moisture has gotten in them. I really liked them till now, about 1-2 yr old. Whats a good one thats not super expensive?

Someone on here recommended browning. I bought 4 of them 3 years ago and they have been impressive. They are out almost year around. A woodpecker or something drilled a hole in one and it still works perfect.

Brownings are good. We've used 7 for 3 years now. Had the first one go down earlier this year. Sent it back and they gave us a list of their 2020 lineup at 50% off. We were happy

COVERT!

I've got a browning and it's fine, but I wouldn't trade one of my coverts for two brownings. That's probably an exaggeration but I definitely prefer the Coverts.

I got 3 of the MP16 Black models this year for less than $300 shipped. They come with a 2 year warranty which is hard to beat. US based customer service. And if you're worried about moisture, I pulled one off a tree earlier this year that was 6 inches under water after the river flooded. Still perfect. I wouldn't recommend doing that, but I'm pretty comfortable that rain and regular moisture won't get to them.

I've heard a lot of good things about Covert cameras. Almost bought their cellular pack of 3 earlier this year, but they never came in stock. Their customer service seemed very friendly every time I talked to them about different models

Moultrie are junk now. I have several moultrie that are 10 years or more old working still and 6 less than 3 years old all water damaged. Cheap junk now. Coverts I have are bulletproof but not the best photo quality. Might just be models I have. I actually picked up 6 black flash wild game innovations about 3 years ago for less than $35 each and those have impressed me for cheap cameras.

I agree with the browning cameras I have 4 and really work great I do use lithium batteries only have had them in for 2 seasons and they are still 100% I've had the cameras for 2-4 years

Also have the metal boxes to put them in because my neighbors like to pull cards and read them and I run them on public. It also helps a
Little with theft as we know a lock is only for an honest man

Most of my covers have been back to the factory. Their design is flawed (or it was 3 years ago) from opening and closing the door. Poor seal, and stress on the wire connecting the batteries to the camera.

WGI are hit and miss... I have some from 3 years ago and they still work flawlessly (paid $30 each). Bought the new model 2 years ago, and 2 of 3 didn't work right out of the box. Bought 3 more last year and those work great.

Running 2 Moultrie cell cams, and both are working perfectly

I have a lot of different cameras. My Moultrie has never worked. Right now I like the $50 chinese camera I got on Amazon. Don't care if it last a year or gets stolen. Sensor range is crazy long. Lots of pics of absolutely nothing around noon til 2pm, but it doesn't miss anything. I hope anyway. Haven't tried the video. I may change my mind later, but the price lets me put out a lot of cameras.

Meidase SL122 Pro

It may be junk, but for now it's awesome for 50 bucks. Heavy rain and no moisture ingress either.

I've had some i bought in 2012 that still work and have some die the 1st year, just the roll of the dice
