I bought 2 Moultrie M60 cams back in June. well after a few weeks of being out, I noticed one didn't have great day pics, it would take a great pic/pics then the next set would be all white. they did this over and over. The other one has super day pics but the night pics were dark cause the flash wasn't very bright. I called them, they told me to do a hard reset on them. That didn't work, so I called back. Told me to send them in.So I packed them both back up in their orginal boxes with all the accs, along with a copy of the recipt, 6 pages of pics showing each problem along with a letter detailing ever detail. that was Oct 3rd when I shipped them.

Few weeks pass and I call them, they are in process of checking them out. About 2 weeks ago, a lady from Moultrie repairs called me. Told me the LCD was bad on one and the flash was bad on the other. Said they had a great deal for me, trade these in and 100.00 to get a new I40. I told them that was crazy, these she be fixed or replaced if they can't. Told me thats the best they can do. Told her to pack them up and I will toss them in the trash and not buy their products any more. She said well they would fix the LCD for 40.00. Told them to forget it, send them back. She came back with, well we will fix your LCD for free and send the other back.

2 weeks later (Thursday) they arrived at my door. The boxes and all the accs were missing, just my cameras in the box along with a note stating they couldn't fix the one because I didnt' provide proof of purchase date and they went through the S/n and it was 09 model. So i call them back right away. I was told the girl would call me back that evening about it. Well she never called...so I called back yesterday evening...after a long time on hold, I was told she was gone getting married and she would call me back when ever she returned.

What a bunch of crap! I will never own another Moultrie product ever again. I have one other camera that will go on Ebay before long.

Anyone else had these kinds of problems with them?

I've dealt with them several times and never had proof of purchase and they have always taken care of me.

I had proof of purchase and they refuse to honor it....forget them! What a total waste of my time. Firemanjim, I'm working on buy one of your cameras. To many great reviews not to.

I've seen multiple posts on here that their customer service is no good. I've also seen that Wildgame innovations has bad cameras, but great customer service.

Wow I must be an exception here. They must really like me or something.I've returned around 5 cameras and never had proof of purchase, and they always accept them.

your just to special...lol I give them a copy of my reciept and they won't honor it. Maybe I can send them to you and you can send them back for me...lol

My Moultrie M80 has been the best camera, by far, that I've had.
The first one didn't transition to dark very well. Called Moultrie who said to simply return it. Took it right back to Bass Pro for exchange.
I've been thrilled with the results, as have others on here who have seen the pics.
The salesman at BP recommened to always get the extended warranty with any game cam. Even Wal-Mart has extended warranties, for not very much.

My experience with Moultrie customer service was very poor also, last year. I have been wanting to buy a new M80 or 100 but cringe at the thought of having to deal with their customer service dept should something go wrong with the camera. On another note, I bought a Uway NT50B last year and it is currently in for the second time in a year. The people are friendly and easy to get a hold of. My problem is they have had my camera for nearly 1 month and can not replace it because they dont have any cameras to replace it with. Im looking at another two weeks before I get it back according to the lady this morning. That is pretty much half of deer season here in Texas. I can not understand how a camera company doesnt have cameras in stock for replacement during the peak usage time of the year. I wont be buying another one from them either.

UPDATE!!!.....I finally got a hold of the lady that was suppose to call me back 2 weeks ago last Wednesday evening. I told her about all the problems I had and that the receipt was included in the package. she said I see it right here and don't know why the didn't take care of you. So she said I will send you out a new I60 cam by fedex, should have it by friday. I got home at lunch on friday and there is a box from them. Inside the box is not 1 but 2 I60 cams. So it took a 2 1/2 months to just get things taken care off...lol Got both my old cameras back and 2 new ones also. Probably will put them on Ebay soon...lol
