My MIL got me one for Christmas. I had actually given her the info for a WildGame Innovations ir4 but got this. I have read reviews of this game cam as well as the WGI and it seems both have their + and -'s.

Thoughts are appreciated.

Good luck. I am window shopping for 2-3 more cams and I am going crazy trying to figure out where to spend my hard earned dough. For every great experience, it seems 2 people have bad experiences. Apparently customer service sucks with all of them. I am leaning toward either the Bushnell Trophy or Cuddeback IR, but who knows.

Pic, I have one and the only complaint that i have with the camera is the IR flash doesn't reach that far at night. Besides that all of my pics have been very clear and the camera seems to take pics pretty fast. Good camera for the price, I'm satisfied with it. But. I have heard that the Bushnell Trophy camera is a really good camera, that is what I'll be getting next.

I've got a moultrie gamespy d-55ir myself and I really like it, it takes great day and night pic's my only complaint is the speed. It has a little delay from the time something sets the sensor off till it takes the pic. I don't know but I figure there's some that is faster but for the money it can't be beat. I think it's the best for the $$$$$$. There also simple to set up, Good luck with yours.

got my d-55ir prior to bow season , great battery life out of it , takes good day time pics , and night time pics also, not tried the video function on it yet . i plan to get 2 more atleast for next year. worth the money i think.....i got mine at bass pro during fall classic sale it came with a free tree mount , a $50 dollar value free......

i concur winchester, but for the money i can tolerate that. I have had good luck with the cams but the thieves have stolen two of the 4 i have owned.

I have two of the d-55 ir cams. They take good pics with good battery life and ok trigger speed . The only thing I ran into was using a memory card bigger than 1 MB. When I used the 4 MB several pics had lines in them ( kinda looked like a tv going out ) and some pics looked like 2 pics in 1. When using the 1 MB cards I have had no issues. Pretty decent camera but honestly I like some my older Moultries a little better.
