D III. No scholarships. No transfer portal. No NIL. Just playing college football for the love of it. Mount Union tries for its 14th title tonight. Stagg Bowl being played at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis this year.

Gotta keep up with Bama's trophy case, but all of Mount Union's prior 13 titles, and this one if they can beat #1 North Central (IL), are authentic. Can't say the same for Alabama, or Ohio State and other "blue bloods."

Are you saying that all of the titles were won on the field and not some claimed title awarded by the Opelika Times Chronicle?
 
Mount Union in Ohio, North Central in Illinois. Very small schools. I just turned it over to watch. Not all the big program pomp. But definitely good playing football to play the game. Thanks for the post.
