Took this deer with my muzzleloading pistol Saturday morning.

Beautiful deer and pistol also. I have taken several with a handgun but never a muzzleloading handgun. Congratulations

That is very cool. How far of a shot was it? Does that pistol not kick like a drunk mule??
About 45yds.
It recoils about like a 44 magnum,to me anyway. It will shoot around 3" groups or less as long as I do my part. I shot 80 gr. of Blackhorn 209 with a 40 cal. 180 gr. Hornady XTP with a Harvester sabot and a Federal 209A shotgun primer. Average m.v. 1700 ish FPS through my chrono. Frame is a T/ C G2
Barrel is from Match Grade Machine, 15" and a T/ C 2.5 x 7 variable scope, laminated for end and grip from Haus of Arms.

Nice job I'd say you gotta practice more than usual to be good like that.
