dang I'd go ask em if I could take a shot..... well nah that would ask for trouble but that sure would get me fired up. Saw 2 longbeards on the way to school this morning by the road. No strutting just standing there looking at me making me mad...

In all seriousness, One of my hunting spots is no more than 2 miles from there. Back in the fall season Myself and a friend counted a flock of 140 birds on a farm right down the rd. That area is covered up!!

You may have the best hunting spot in the state...lol. You are right that area is covered up. One day last week on Emery Drive (I think that is the name of the road) there was probably 50 in someone's front yard not 10 yards from their front door. I have been trying to get permision to turkey hunt from someone in Rutherford county the last few years but have not had any luck yet. I will eventually knock on the right door and get permission.

i used to live at raider's crossing when you first get into mboro, you could go out on the balcony early and hear turkeys all over the place back towards greenland drive
