Morning or evening?.... i havent heard one gobble in the evening yet
it was this morning

I hear a few gobble in the evening but not near as many as morning

Sounded like there were several jakes in that group, certainly a mature bird as well, but a bunch of jake gobbling.

I dont know, they sounded like longbeards to me... the jakes I have heard have much shorter more awkward sounding gobbles. But maybe I will see when I hunt there in 2 days

It's always hard to tell from a video, but the closest birds sounded jakeish to me, but you were there not me and heard them first hand. Bring us a pic or 4

4 ha, I hope I get one out there before pressure runs em off. Crank the volume up and listen again, you have heard far more turkeys than I have. I don't think they sound like jakes, but then I could be wrong.

Hey Cat man. Loved watched your videos on YouTube. I will be hunting the same areas as you probably. I went out past few evenings and heard no gobbles. Still looking forward to being out there again. Well I mean hunting, I used to hunt two hours of here.

Two mornings in a row a couple years backI heard two roosted in the same area that I thought was jakes by there gobbles I didn't mess with, until the third morning. I set up on them they came running and had two of the longest beards you could hope for. Sure fooled me :)
