The photos below are from my 2nd attempt to pattern my Mossberg 935. It appears as though my gun was shooting WAY high-left from my previous try on the factory bead.

My 1st Try

Since then, I have installed a Leupold VX1 2-7x33 NWTF scope. I also have a Kick's Gob Thunder .680 choke. The shots were from 40-45 yards.

I'm thinking I should be satisfied with the results. Please share your opinions. Be honest...help a newbie turkey hunter out ;)

the rem nitro 3.5 is great at 40 yards i wouldnt shoot anything over 50 with it JMO

I think I like the Rem Nitros as well. Hopefully I won't have to shoot >40-50 yards. That last shot was a bonus :/ didn't have a reason to keep the last sheet

I tried at 30 while I was adjusting my scope. I didn't shoot on a turkey target but on a regular bull's eye sheet. I haven't yet counted the pellets but the pattern was very dense and tight.

Thanks Guys! Had it not been for this board, I would have gone in the woods with that crappy pattern that I had initially.

Wealth of information on here along with some really great folks. Best of luck this spring and post your pics!!
