how long is battery life

I built my first homebrew in february,I now have 10 in the field
with a few in process,I have never had to change Battery;s yet.
I think I may be getting ready to,I want to bring them all in and clean them up and make sure the Batteries are good.
I charge the cam Rechargebles when I bring them in ,that may have a lot to do with it.

But I have been getting incredible time out of my Bats.
well I checked my EXT. last week and had 2.77 on the first one I ever built ,it is wired with 4 AA;s for 3 volts.
I am always careful to shut down the LCD.And get the flash right no Autofocus,or Illuminator light.

It is getting time to get some good pics. of bachelor groups
If you have a cam you need to get it out,if you get lucky you will get to see every buck on the place.
