My luck is running true to form. Had a little time to before picking the kid up from work in Oak Ridge so I hit the pier on Melton Hill on Edgemore. I didn`t have any bait so I used some blue and pink power bait. Caught a softshell turtle.
 
Me and a buddy fishes a good hole last night with cut bait, worms and corn. I caught none and he caught 2 baby channel cats and 3 or 4 softshell turtles. There are too many of those dang snout shells in there
 
Be careful fishing the Pier in Solway, lost of um Gboys stay in that area! They call it Pickle park for a reason! Sad and the city of OR should clean it up imo!
 
Yea, I think they have cracked down on that and cleaned it up as I have not had any problems. I also carry anytime I am fishing plus I am not above wearing out an ugly stick.
