It was already breaking light when we got there and as soon as we opened the truck doors birds were gobbling, I could here two different ones but when we got to where two pastures meet they were on the ground and a third had joined in, I could tell they were close so I told my wife to sit down and I got behind her I called lightly, all of them shut up besides one in front, all of a sudden I could hear drumming and I heard my wife's safety click off, then the Tom walked out, I whispered he's in range and boom, she had her first bird in 5 years, 32 yard shot, 11" beard, 21#, 3/4 " spurs
