This girl came wandering in with my normal 2 hens at my corn feeder a few days ago. Can't tell if she is a narragansett or maybe Leucistic.

Any ideas?

That's what I call silver phase... She looks to be young too. You got a fall season? Would make an awesome full body mount.

Silver phase or "smoky gray"

Wild turkey but it has an odd color phase is definitely be after her

only problem is that we are just now getting turkeys in the area. I would hate to take a baby producer out just yet, but temptation might get the best of me....
well in that case, if she's on private land with nobody else around to kill her, I might let her reproduce for a year.... emphasis on might....

I have pics of a similar bird. can you give me a general area where she is? I just want to know if it could be the same bird. not at all interested in trying to horn in on her.

There are far more turkeys in Hardin Valley than you realize. I've killed birds in farragut for Nigh on ten years, and oak ridge is covered up.

Seen them deeper in the valley for quite some time now, first time in 44 years to have them around the house.

I can honestly say, I have never seen one in Farragut, but what I consider Farragut and what actually is, I am sure is off..... being a Karns boy, never ventured down there much til after I was grown
