NASCAR loosens up the rules for 2010 !

I think it may have got so boring there is nothing really to talk about any more. I know it about has for me. I don't know the last time I was able to sit through a whole race. Even, Daytona and Talladega where the big one can happen about any time.

I agree . I didn't watch a full race last season because they became too boring to watch. I think the new rule changes will bring back some of the bumping that made the sport so popular in the past .
 
With the changes to the rear wing/spoiler and asking drivers to "act" human once again... maybe just maybe the sport of nascar will be more interesting this year.

Guess we'll have to wait and see.

ALSO would like to know, are we gonna have a tndeer racers fantasy nascar on espn.com again this year?

Anyone heard from Chad Wheeler? He is in the guy that set it up last couple years for us????
 
I haven't heard anything about the fantasy stuff this year.

I hope the new rules will raise up the ratings and excitment. I didn't watch the first full race last year. I don't like the whole.. Chase for the cup stuff. Let the boys race til the end. whoever has the most points wins.
 
reckon im going to watch more this year as long as they treat them all the same,it got old when a big name bumped somebody & wrecked them & nothing was done but let a small name do it & get sent to the back or penalized some way.their all big boys & let em run :) ,mike243
 
he's 1 of them,it seems strange that their running on valentines day this year,i thought they started after it normally,maybe another race sold somewhere? mike243
 
I think it will make for better racing, just be interesting watching a few who like to bump, but can't stand getting bumped. I may not watch every minute of the race, never did in the old days either, but I still watch. You don't always have to have a wreck on every other lap to have a good race. Hope it makes the plate races a little better.
 
I read some changes were coming to the restrictor plates too. They are going to cut down the size. In my opinion, the plates makes for a even more boring race.

As for the "more aggression" this season... I cant wait to see how long it goes before Nascar says it is going too far.

As long as the aggression doesnt turn into dumping drivers all the time rather than a bump and run, I think it will make things more interesting. Maybe a step back the way things used to be.

Now if Nascar would just let them slug it out once and a while after the race would be good. IF that was ever allowed, you know the MAJORITY of drivers wouldnt remove their helmets until they were inside their haulers!! :) :)

Curious who the big rivals will be this year. Hope Denny and Brad stays at each other, hopefully Harvick and Montoya has a few good bouts, and to get things stirred up for ya'll: I hope Kyle creates havock for each Hendrick driver two or three times LOL ;)
 
Maybe there will be some excitement at Daytona this season . I'm anxious to see if the changes will bring the fans back .
 
I hope its more exciting this year. I didnt renew my Bristol tickets this year because the race had become as boring as watching paint dry. They called me the other day and offered me better seats(on the isle) so Im gonna give it another shot.
