I've been getting into hockey the last couple of seasons especially since the predators are improving. I've been thinking about going to a game to see them play. I've never been to see a hockey game. I would appreciate everyone's opinion who has been and what they think.
 
A little late to go this year.... I have been a few times and it is really fun!
 
You couldn't pay me to watch it on tv. But a live game is awesome. I went to a doubleheader preseason game 2 yrs ago and was up close and personal. This past yr our Sunday school class went and tickets were $40 and that included unlimited sodas and food. They were nose bleed seats but could still see good. That game at one point they had all 5 players on the floor in the penalty box at one time :D.
 
I go to 15-20 games a year. Been following the Preds since 2001 and probably the only thing I set the DVR for when they're on the road.
They have one of, if not the best Defensive core in the league. Added some top-notch forwards over the last 2-3 years and are looking really good for the foreseeable future.
They put on a good show at the arena and keep fans entertained. Fun family environment, crowd chants, and sometimes you'll see catfish thrown on the ice.
It's just so much faster than football and I like the lack of showboating / arrogance with hockey. Players are really down to earth, average-joe type guys.

Let me know if you ever come to town for a game. I might have extras, or can point you in the direction for some cheaper tix.

They should have a really good team next year as well with all the main guys returning.

I see the Preds traded Shae Weber.... I always liked him. I think it may be a good trade just hate seeing him go.
 
That was out of left field.
Subban is dynamic, great skater, but still in shock.
Apparently Weber was pretty emotional about having to leave Nashville.

Will miss him. Guy was a beast.
