This was supper the other night...
Crook neck squash from the garden.
Sliced heirloom tomato from the garden...It was either a Delicious or Jeff Davis.
Heirloom green beans from saved seed from the garden...the lady that gave me the seed said her family had been saving the seed since 1913.
Meatloaf from ground venison shot with a flintlock rifle.

How did the beans taste? My Dad used to swear that greenbeans had a different taste from what was Now available in the grocery stores.

Yes it is. What you see there is just a little over 400 calories....filling as well.

They do have a very good taste. That's why l've been saving the seed myself for better than 10 years.
